Kim Jong Un accuses US of prolonging Ukraine war

In a recent meeting with officials at North Korea’s Defense Ministry, Kim Jong Un accuses US of prolonging Ukraine war, blaming America and its allies for intentionally dragging out the conflict. He described Washington as “blinded by wild ambition” to rule the world and asserted that its actions are fueling more violence.

Kim went further to reaffirm North Korea’s loyalty to Russia, promising unwavering support for what he called the “just cause” of defending Moscow’s sovereignty.

What This Means

This statement might deepens North Korea’s alignment with Russia, strengthening a strategic military and political alliance. Previously, Kim had stated similar support, calling his country’s involvement in Ukraine a sovereign-right defense of a “brother nation”.

Together, these signals suggest North Korea is positioning itself firmly against U.S. influence, lending political backing to Russia’s aims in Ukraine.
