Rumors have it that after the accident, a uniform person, stole the plate number away.
Reality TV star Phyna (Josephina Otabor), widely known from Big Brother Naija Season 7, has shaken social media after accusing the Dangote Group of negligent behavior following a serious accident involving her younger sister, Otabor Bodon Ruth. The incident occurred in Auchi, Edo State, described as being just days after Ruth’s graduation from Auchi Polytechnic.
According to the accounts, the Dangote Group truck allegedly knocked down Ruth as she exited school. In the crash, she lost one leg and the second limb is at risk of amputation. Heartbreakingly, Ruth’s achievements—the pride of graduating—were overshadowed by tragedy.
Phyna took to X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram with a scathing message to Aliko Dangote and his conglomerate:
“You have money, but you are not God…. this truck and its driver must remain in custody. We need justice.”
She alleged that after the crash, authorities removed the truck’s license plate, possibly prohibiting investigations. Critically, she asserted that the company prioritized concealment over compassion.
Actress Kate Henshaw lent her voice to the outrage, demanding accountability:
“She graduated 6 days ago. The driver ran. License plate removed. Police denying access. Justice must be served.”
Online critic VeryDarkMan also shared a distressing video of Ruth in critical condition, questioning whether her life was worth that of a truck.

The situation underscores concerns about road safety, corporate impunity, and systemic bias when public figures get involved.
