Five Days of Music, Culture as ‘Jameson Distillery on Tour’ Returns to Lagos

Jameson Distillery on Tour’ returns to Lagos

Irish whiskey maker Jameson is set to bring its acclaimed Jameson Distillery on Tour (JDOT) back to Lagos from 26 September to 1 October, promising an immersive blend of music, fashion, art and creative culture.

For nearly a week, Orange Island in Lekki Phase 1 will transform into a festival-style playground where nostalgic games, art installations, whiskey tastings and live performances showcase Jameson’s 245-year-old heritage with a Lagos twist.

A Five-Day Cultural Journey

The JDOT experience unfolds in stages, each night offering a unique flavour of Lagos’ vibrant lifestyle:

  • 26 September – WAF & Street Souk After Dark: Skating culture, pop-up fashion, DJ sets and street-style energy.
  • 27 September – MIA & Vogue Boys: Retro gaming, water-park vibes, runway shows and standout music performances.
  • 28 September – Afrovibes: An intimate street-style concert inspired by Lagos’ busking traditions.
  • 29 September – Distillery Doors Shut: A brief intermission for festival-goers to catch their breath.
  • 30 September – Afro Jam: All-female musical showcase curated in partnership with Deeds Magazine.
  • 1 October – Mainland Block Party: The grand finale coincides with Nigeria’s Independence Day, bringing a city-wide celebration of music and culture.

Beyond the Stage

Guests can explore a Jameson mini-distillery, offering guided tastings, cocktail-making workshops and storytelling sessions that connect the craft of Irish whiskey with Lagos’ contemporary creativity. Limited-edition Jameson merchandise will also be available as keepsakes.

“Jameson Distillery on Tour has become more than an event; it’s a community,” said Evane Chenuet, Marketing Director of Pernod Ricard Nigeria. “This year at Orange Island, we’re creating a space where creativity, fashion, music and culture come alive.”
