The Toronto Blue Jays have delivered one of the most surprising moves of the MLB trade deadline, acquiring 27-year-old right-handed starter José Soriano from the Los Angeles Angels.
In exchange for Soriano, who remains under team control through the 2028 season, Toronto sent a package of three prospects to Los Angeles, headlined by elite shortstop prospect Arjun Nimmala.
