"Barcelona Insider: Lamine Yamal 'Frustrated' by Rumors of Marcus Rashford Transfer"

Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal is reportedly unhappy with the club following the arrival of Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United.

According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, the 18-year-old winger feels misled during his recent contract renewal. Yamal was reportedly assured that Athletic Club’s Nico Williams was the only player Barcelona intended to sign for the left flank. However, the club eventually opted for Rashford, leaving the youngster feeling frustrated and dejected.

The report claims Yamal had hoped to form a dynamic partnership with Williams at Barça, replicating their chemistry from the Spain national team, where the pair share a strong bond.

Barcelona had initially planned to activate Williams’ €58 million release clause, but complications arose after Athletic Bilbao filed a complaint against the Catalan club to LaLiga. The Basque club eventually secured Williams with a new 10-year contract until 2035, thwarting Barcelona’s pursuit.

Despite these developments, Yamal believes Hansi Flick’s side could have done more to land Williams. Adding to his frustration, the youngster was reportedly not consulted before the decision to sign Rashford was finalized.

The England international’s arrival on loan is seen as a short-term solution for Barcelona’s attacking depth, but it appears to have created tension within the squad, particularly with one of the club’s brightest prospects.
