On August 4, 2025, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) officially announced the release of WASSCE 2025 results for school candidates. The announcement was made via their X (formerly Twitter) handle.

1. Online (WAEC Direct Portal)

WAEC’s official checking portal — waecdirect.org — lets you access your result instantly:

  1. Open the portal and choose “School Candidate Result”
  2. Enter your 10-digit Examination Number
  3. Input the Year of the Exam (e.g. 2025)
  4. Input the Scratch Card Serial Number (12 digits)
  5. Enter the e-PIN
  6. Fill any captcha, then click “Submit”

Your full result will display in a new window. Make sure pop‑ups are not blocked.


2. SMS Method (No Internet Needed)

For those with limited connectivity, WAEC partnered network providers offer result access via SMS:

  1. Buy a WAEC e‑PIN scratch card (₦500)
  2. In your phone’s SMS app, type: WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear — with no spaces — then send to 32327
  3. Available only on MTN, Glo, and Airtel networks
  4. The fee is ₦30 per SMS; you get several attempts per PIN
