JAMB 2025 Mop-Up UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the official release of results for the 2025 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on Saturday, June 28, 2025. This marks another critical step in JAMBโ€™s mission to uphold transparency and integrity in Nigeriaโ€™s higher education admissions process.

Results Now Out for Compliant Candidates

According to a statement released by the board, results have been made available for 11,161 out of the 96,838 candidates scheduled for the mop-up exercise.

Candidates can check their results by sending UTMERESULT (typed as a single word) via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same SIM card used during UTME registration.

๐Ÿšจ Fake Admission Letters: Syndicate Uncovered

In a separate but equally alarming development, JAMB gave a detailed update on the outcome of its ongoing investigation into fake admission lettersโ€”a scam affecting thousands of admission hopefuls.

At a joint press briefing in 2024, JAMB and the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) revealed that a syndicate fabricating fake admission letters had been uncovered. This led to the arrest of five suspects, currently being prosecuted in the Federal High Court, Abuja in the case titled:
