Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber has broken several Billboard records following the release of his latest album, Swag, which celebrates his new role as a father. The project, Bieber’s seventh studio album, features deeply personal themes, and its cover art includes a heartfelt image of the singer alongside his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their newborn son, Jack Blues.
Swag has made an explosive debut on the charts, placing 16 songs on this week’s Billboard Hot 100. The album’s lead single, Daisies, opened strong at No. 2, marking Bieber’s 27th top 10 hit — tying him with Janet Jackson for the 10th-most top 10 entries in Hot 100 history.
In addition to this feat, Bieber has now surpassed Chris Brown for the most Hot 100 chart entries by a male artist, with a record-breaking total of 121 songs.
Bieber also achieved a unique Billboard milestone: he is the first artist ever to debut at No. 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously. While Swag debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Daisies mirrored the position on the Hot 100 singles chart.
In other chart news, Teddy Swims’ hit song Lose Control has made history as the first song to spend 100 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The track, which previously reached No. 1, remains firmly in the top 10.
Justin Bieber’s Swag is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to his enduring influence on the global pop scene. As he embraces fatherhood, his fans continue to embrace his evolving sound and record-breaking journey
