Renowned rapper Nicki Minaj has publicly accused music mogul Jay-Z of owing her between $100 million and $200 million. The “Anaconda” star took to social media platform X on Tuesday to express her frustration, urging Jay-Z to settle what she described as a “karmic debt.” In her post, Minaj wrote: “We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest. You still in my Top 5 tho. Let’s get it nigga.” Minaj’s claims center around an ongoing grievance related to her alleged unpaid equity from Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming platform, which was sold in 2021. She has repeatedly suggested that she was shortchanged during the acquisition process and has now chosen to go public with her demand. Despite the public call-out, Jay-Z has not issued any response to Minaj’s latest allegations. This isn’t the first time tensions around the Tidal deal have surfaced, but the substantial figure mentioned and Minaj’s direct appeal could push the issue into the spotlight once again. Industry watchers and fans alike await further developments, especially a possible response from Jay-Z.
