During a monitoring visit to Model Secondary School, Maitama and Government Secondary School, Tudun Wada, Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmad, lauded the orderly, disciplined, and timely execution of the exams.
“I’m very happy with the way the exams were conducted…which shows a strong interest in our unity colleges,” she declared.
NECO Registrar Prof. Ibrahim Wushishi confirmed that no glitches were reported, materials arrived on time, and all procedures were flawless, igniting public confidence in future WAEC and NECO exams.
NECO emphasized full inclusivity, providing braille and other support for visually impaired candidates—an inspiring move demonstrating the exam’s compassionate and equitable reach.
Binta Abdulkadir, Director of Senior Secondary Education, affirmed that admissions will be merit-based, supplemented by state quotas and provisions for civil servant families—ensuring equity and transparency.
