Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen is set to travel to Istanbul on Wednesday as he edges closer to completing a permanent move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

According to trusted football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen will undergo medical examinations on Thursday, following the finalisation of legal documents between Galatasaray and Napoli. The deal marks the final chapter in what has been a closely monitored transfer saga.

“Victor Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Wednesday, all documents are counter-signed! Medical on Thursday for Osimhen, back to Galatasaray,” Romano confirmed on his official X account Tuesday night.

Galatasaray had been keen on signing the Nigerian international permanently after a highly successful loan spell in which he scored 37 goals in 41 appearances. His goal-scoring prowess played a crucial role in their title-winning campaign, prompting swift negotiations with Napoli.
